Estimate My Net Worth Tool
The Estimate My Net Worth tool helps you record your assets and debts (liabilities) and estimate your net worth. Often when applying for credit, a large purchase, or a new home you may be asked to supply a statement of net worth.
This tool helps you organize and calculate your net worth. You can also print out a net worth report in either detailed or summary format. The summary report allows you to group your assets and liabilities by category.
For each item you will need to select a category (the category determines whether it is an asset or a liability), enter the name of the item or items, and enter a value. Asset categories are listed first, liability categories follow.
As you enter the items your Total Assets, Total Liabilities and Net Worth will be calculated. Each time you enter a new item or update an item's value, the As of date will also be updated.
You may be as specific or as general as you desire in listing your items.
Select the Print Net Worth Report button to print or view a net worth report. You can choose to print/view a detailed report and a report summarized by category:
You can also create multiple net worth worksheets for yourself, your business, family and friends. Select the New button to create a new worksheet:
Enter a name for the new worksheet and select the OK button.
Select the Open File button to open a selection window and choose the worksheet to work with:
Select the worksheet from the list and then select the Select button.
