Simple Joe's Battle Blocks!
Battle Blocks is your favorite Tetris-style game with a twist. A special Network mode allows you to play against up to four other players over your LAN or peer-to-peer network.
As you clear two or more rows of blocks at a time one or more "bonus" rows of random blocks get added to the bottom of another player's gamespace. You can pick which player gets your bonus row.
Gang up on the better players or give everyone a taste of your vengeance. But look out! They can send bonus rows right back at you.
You can even keep tabs on how the other players are doing. Their gamespaces are shown and updated on your screen as well. Revel in a well timmed Tetris (simultaneous completion of 4 rows) that knocks another player completely out of the game.
Battle Blocks also has a one player mode where the speed of the blocks increases until it is nearly impossible to get them placed in time. Warning! Don't let your game-space get filled or you won't have room to maneuver.
Battle Blocks two player mode pits two players against each other on the same computer. Just as the network game, bonus rows are also a factor in the two player game.
Battle Blocks also features an extended set of blocks. You can play with the traditional set of 4 block pieces or add the Extended Blocks set (on by default) which include combinations of three, two and single block pieces.

* The down key moves the piece downward without droping it into place.
Keys can be customized by selecting the Options menu, then clicking the Customize keys button. Other options such as starting speed, starting rows (rows of ramdom blocks), sound and next piece preview may be entered or changed.

You can even pause the game, though not during a network game. Network games can also be started with rows of random blocks to keep the game interesting from the very beginning.

This game is distributed as shareware. You may play up to 20 games to try it out and see how you like it. After the 5th game the Drop and Down actions will be disabled.
